NameView 1.4 should install and run on any standard installation of Windows 10 or 11!

Windows 11
  • NameView is intented to run on all Windows computers, including older Windows NT machines.
  • So it is designed to use very old Windows support libraries that have been around forever.
  • However, after many years, some of this overhead is no longer installed by default in Windows 11.

This means that your virgin (not upgraded) Windows 11 machine may not work with NameView by default.

  • You can have Windows install the required Microsoft .Net 3.5 files.
  • This is done through your control panel as outlined <Here>
  • Or you can install the latest version of NameView which uses newer library files available on current machines.

Autorun Your Club Game with OneClick
If you are running a simple multi-section club game and want to use NameView to synchronize all your Current Game sections, then you can run NameView in the OneClick mode (see tutorial).

The installer, by default, adds two icons to your desktop. The 'NameView' icon simply starts the application and the 'OneClick' icon starts and runs the application on the current game. Leave one or both on your desktop and use the one best suited to you!

If you have lost your 'OneClick' icon, simply reinstall the application or follow the instructions below:
  • The 'NameView' icon simply starts the application.
  • The 'OneClick' icon starts and runs the application on the current game (default names).

Uninstall guide
  • If a User Account Control warning appears, click "Yes" to continue installing.
  • On the Welcome screen, click "Next" to uninstall.
  • The Uninstalling dialog shows uninstallation progress.
  • Click "Finish" to complete the uninstallation.
